Institutional knowledge shouldn't walk out the door
synchros started from a pattern every IT professional recognizes: the knowledge base is in three different places, half of it is out of date, and the rest is in one senior tech's head.
Why we exist
IT departments and MSPs don't have a documentation problem because they're careless - they have one because knowledge is created everywhere, all day: in tickets, recordings, side conversations, and a dozen tools. It was never going to organize itself.
synchros does the organizing. It meets the knowledge where it already lives, reconciles the conflicts, and keeps a single source of truth current - so the answer is one search away instead of one resignation away.
What we believe
- Reconcile, don't re-key. Your knowledge already exists. Software should assemble it, not ask you to retype it.
- A KB is a tool, not an archive. If people don't use it while the ticket's open, it failed.
- Trust is earned by currency. Stale and conflicting content is worse than none - so we surface it relentlessly.
